The third day’s competition included performances by 25 male and 15 female participants. They were held in two sessions, morning and afternoon. The boys’ session was held at the Mecca Grand Mosque, while the girls’ session was held at the Hilton Hotel.

So far, the total number of participants who have recited since the start of the final round has reached 106, representing 61 countries.

The judging panels include a selected group of international judges specializing in Quranic sciences, recitation, and Tajweed rules.

The participants’ recitations are rigorously evaluated based on criteria including memorization, recitation, Tajweed, and quality of performance. The evaluation utilizes an advanced electronic judging system, which increases the accuracy of scoring, ensures fairness and transparency, and expedites the announcement of results.

It is worth noting that the 46th edition of this competition includes 334 male and female participants from 133 countries, competing in five categories.

The aim of the competition is to encourage Muslim youth to memorize, understand and reflect on the Holy Quran and to create fair competition.
