Zionist Regime to Blame for Assassination of Hissan Al-Laqis

Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement said it holds the Zionist regime responsible for the assassination of one of its leaders.

According to Al-Manar news network, the movement issued a statement in which it condemned the assassination and stressed that Tel Aviv must take the consequences of this action.  

Hissan Al-Laqis was killed in front of his house in the Lebanese capital of Beirut on Tuesday night, December 3.

The statement said Al-Laqis spent his life and youth for the resistance movement and was a great leader, Mujahid (one who struggles on the path of God).

 It said Israel was the main suspect behind the assassination as the occupying regime had frequently sought to kill Al-Laqis.

In the statement, Hezbollah also extended condolences to the family of martyr Al-Laqis.
