Winners of Egypt’s Nat’l Quran Contest Honored

Winners of the national Quran and Hadith Competition in Egypt were honored in a ceremony on Monday.

The ceremony was held in the city of Qarda in Al-Bahr Al-Ahmar province of Egypt, Al-Shuruq website reported.

210 of the contestants who had won the top titles in different categories and age groups received their awards at the function.

The competition was held in the categories of memorization of the Quran at different levels as well as memorization of Hadiths.

The provinces of Faiyum, Alexandria, Beni Suef and Giza had the highest number of winners among the participants.
