Gaza Girl Finds Peace, Spiritual Comfort in Memorizing Quran
Habiba Muhammad is an inspiring example of resilience and overcoming the trauma of her mother's martyrdom at a young age, according to Al Jazeera.
She found peace and spiritual comfort in memorizing the Holy Quran and explained how the pain of losing her martyred mother turned it into a powerful motivation to continue on the path of memorizing the Quran, a journey that required years of continuous effort and intense focus.
The girl explained that after God, she owes her success to her adoptive mother who embraced her and provided her with the psychological and educational support she needed to overcome that difficult period in her life.
She emphasized that this support was the cornerstone that enabled her to memorize the entire Quran despite all the difficult conditions prevailing in the Gaza Strip.
She added that the path to memorizing the entire Quran was not easy, but her determination to achieve her dream was stronger than any challenge she faced during her education and training. She emphasized that the Holy Quran was a loyal companion that accompanied her in her loneliness and helped her rebuild her life.
Habiba, along with a group of six hundred other Quran memorizers, attended a grand ceremony held recently to recognize their efforts.
The event demonstrates the commitment of the Gazan believing community and Islamic institutions to supporting young talents who are steadfast on their path to excellence despite the harsh realities of Gaza.
