Mohammad Zarqam, director of the organization’s education department, told IQNA that since the beginning of the current Iranian calendar year (started on March 21), the Dar-ol-Quran Karim Organization has held several Quran teachers training courses in such fields as reading, recitation, memorization, translation and concepts.
He said these courses were organized in different provinces including Kermanshah, Sistan and Baluchestan, East Azarbaijan and Tehran.
The next course, featuring translation and concepts, will be held in the province of Lorestan starting from February 2014, Zarqam stated.
He said that teaching techniques, Islamic education with a Quranic approach, and the principles of teaching are among the topics to be presented in the courses.
Those participants who pass the examinations successfully will be employed as Quran translation and concepts teachers in Lorestan province, the official noted.
He went on to say that such courses will continue to be held by the Dar-ol-Quran Karim Organization in the next year provided that the required funds are provided.
