12 Translations of the Holy Quran Available for Grand Mosque’s Pilgrims

Director of the Holy Qur’an and religious books department of the Grand Mosque in the holy city of Makkah announced that 12 various translations of the Divine Book are available for the pilgrims of the holy site.


 



According to Al-Watan newspaper, Muhammad Al-Silani said that there are copies of the Holy Qur’an in different languages such as Urdu, Indonesian, Turkish, Chinese, Thai, Hausa, and Spanish in the Grand Mosque.



Speaking at the ceremony to launch the new website of the Grand Mosque, the director said that the number of copies of the Holy Quran in Braille has also increased in the Grand Mosque.



Director of The Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques’ Affairs has made 1500 copies of the Holy Qur’an in Braille language available in different locations in the Grand Mosque, Al-Silani added.



He further noted that during the Umrah pilgrimage season the Grand Mosque will be equipped with new Quran copies and translations of the Holy Book and those copies which are not published by King Fahd Quran Printing Complex will be collected from the Grand Mosque.



 The total number of copies of the Holy Qur’an inside the Grand Mosque is 1,500,000, he added.
