Samanmitrwittaya representative Mahamalutfi Hayisamae said Turkey had offered to help restore the 150 to 1,200-year-old Al-Quran manuscripts, which were part of his school's heritage collection, at no cost.

The remaining 60 Al-Quran manuscripts from Mahamalutfi's school will be sent to Turkey for restoration in future.
