Quran Sheds Light on Path of Salvation
This is according to Quran scholar Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi, speaking in a meeting with some 400 managers of Quranic institutes on Thursday.
He said that the Holy Quran sheds light on the path of salvation and also warns humans of the deviated paths.
The senior cleric said God is infinite and so is his compassion and kindness. “God has sent the Quran out of His kindness and if there had been a better book than the Quran, God, because of His kindness, would have sent that book. But there is no book better than the Quran.”
He referred to the attractions of the Quran and said the Holy Book’s attractions are so exceptional that even its opponents are drawn to it.
Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi further described the Quran as a healing for humans’ spiritual illnesses, adding that anyone who seeks salvation must refer to the Book of God.
The managers of the Quran institutes from across the country were in Qom to take part in a three-day course held at Yavaran-e Mahdi Center.
