Seminar Held at Hajjah University to Mark Prophet’s Birthday

IQNA – The Faculties of Financial and Banking Sciences, Education, Agriculture, and Veterinary Medicine at Hajjah University’s Abs Branch in Yemen organized a scientific seminar entitled “Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, those with him are firm against the disbelievers and merciful among themselves.”

During the seminar, Assistant President of the University for Affairs of the Abs Branch Faculties, Dr. Mohammed Dammoum, highlighted the Prophet’s (PBUH) spirit of jihad and his exemplary life, which embodied courage, steadfastness, sacrifice in support of truth , defense of Islamic principles and values.

He described commemorating the Prophet’s Birthday as an opportunity to draw lessons from the life of the Prophet and follow his example in confronting the challenges facing the Muslim nation. He stressed the importance of instilling Islamic values , the spirit of jihad in students and young people, as they represent the nation’s hope for building and change.

Dean of the Faculty of Financial and Banking Sciences Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hamzi also highlighted everyone’s religious responsibility toward the Muslim nation , the Palestinian cause, as well as the need to support the oppressed and stand with the truth, following the example of the Prophet.

He stressed the importance of using the religious occasion to connect the meanings of the Prophet’s Birthday with the current reality of the Muslim nation and to revive the spirit of solidarity and brotherhood among Muslims.

For his part, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine Dr. Hussein Al-Rajhi compared the condition of the Muslim nation before and after the birth of the Prophet, noting that it had been marked by division, ignorance, and injustice. He said the Prophet’s birth represented a historic turning point , brought about a civilizational and moral transformation that changed the course of history , established the values of justice, equality, and knowledge.
