Mohammad Hossein Fereyduni, member of the Specialized Council of Developing the Quranic Culture, made the remark while speaking to IQNA, adding that the objective is based on the guidelines set by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution about the need for learning the Quran and getting acquainted with its teachings.
He said the public Quran education system aims to develop the ability of reading and reflecting on the Quran among people in society and helping them use the teachings of the Holy Book in their lives.
Fereyduni further urged that in memorizing the Quran, those Surahs that are used in prayers and supplications can be selected for memorization before other Surahs.
