Takfiri Ideology, Origin of Terrorist Activities in Muslim Countries
Speaking to Sabaq daily, Abdullah Faraj Al-Sharif said whether these terrorist activities target Muslims or non-Muslims, they have very negative consequences.
He criticized the Takfiris for considering it legitimate to kill, seize the properties and damage the reputation of Muslims.
He said it is regrettable that Takfiris exploit teenagers and use them as militants to spread war.
The Saudi scholar said most of the youth avoid extremism but there are few who fall trap to extremist ideas and disregard the religion’s principles.
Acts of violence and terrorist activities by the Takfiris, who consider some Muslims to be infidels, have been on the rise in the region in recent years. They have been spreading their activities in countries like Syria, Iraq, Pakistan and Egypt.
