Issued on Tuesday, January 28, the statement called for adoption of historical stances against the Fitna that threatens different parts of the Muslim world, Al-Manar website reported.
It urged Muslim scholars to fulfill their responsibility of raising people’s awareness and knowledge about true Islamic concepts that invite to kindness and unity.
The Assembly of Muslim Scholars stressed that only the Zionist regime benefits from the Fitna in the Muslim and Arab world.
It called on Islamic and Arab states to strengthen and support the Palestinian resistance and show unity and unanimity on the issue of Palestine.
The statement further criticized moves by some media like Lebanon’s LBC satellite TV that try to portray relations with the Zionist regime as being normal.
The assembly called for legal actions by the Lebanese authorities against such networks.
