The 35th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory is to be celebrated in the Central Asian Republic of Kyrgyzstan today.

700 cultural, art and academic figures as well as university students and students of the Persian language will be attending the ceremony, IQNA’s Central Asia branch reports.
A play titled “A Man Resembling No One Else” by Nurlan Abdul Qaderov is among the programs of the ceremony.
It features the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini’s (RA) struggles against the tyrannical regime of the Shah.
Millions of Iranians across Iran have begun ten days of celebrations, marking the 35th anniversary of the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
The ceremonies kicked off all over the nation on Saturday, February 1, at 9:33 a.m. local time, the time when the late founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini arrived back home from exile on February 1, 1979.
Imam Khomeini (RA) spent more than 14 years in exile, mostly in the Iraqi holy city of Najaf. He also spent some time in Turkey and France, before his return to Iran.
The day when Imam Khomeini (RA) returned to Tehran marks the start of 10 days of celebrations better known as the 10-Day Dawn festivities, which culminate in nationwide rallies on February 11, the anniversary of the triumph of the Islamic Revolution.
