Ali Mohammad Yarahmadi, the father, says all of his 8 children are memorizers of the Holy Quran.
His only daughter, Fatemeh, and four of his sons, Yusef, Ali, Hamid and Muhammad have learned the entire Quran by heat while the two youngest sons, Hassan and Hossein are memorizers of 15 Juzes (half) of the Quran.
Hassan and Hossein are also striving to learn the entire Holy Book by heart in about five months.
“Acquaintance with the Quran brings about elevation of soul, growth and salvation,” says Ali Mohammad, who heads the branch of Beyt-ol-Ahzan Hazrat Zahra (SA) Institute in his village. “That is why I have tried to have a family with a (strong) Quranic-religious commitment.”
He said memorizing the Quran began at home by holding Quran reading sessions, which were also attended by some relatives and friends.
Later, they started attending memorization classes held by the Beyt-ol-Ahzan Hazrat Zahra (SA) Institute.
Meanwhile, the mother continued helping her children at home with their Quran memorization.
Yusef, the eldest son whose wife is also a memorizer of the whole Quran, is now a Quran teacher in a nearby village.
He says encouragements by his parents and the good teaching methods used in the institute were among the reasons for his success in the Quranic field.
It took Yusef less than one year to memorize the whole Quran by attending the courses held by Beyt-ol-Ahzan Hazrat Zahra (SA) Institute.
Three of the brothers, Mohammad, Ali and Hamid are now studying religious sciences in seminary school.
