“Islamic Awakening” Essay-Writing Competition Held in Lahore
An essay-writing competition on “Islamic Awakening and Muslim Unity in View of Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Supreme Leader” was held in Lahore, Punjab Province of Pakistan.
According to IQNA’s branch in South Asia, the competition was organized by the Iranian Cultural Center in the city in cooperation with “Zeynabiyya Minhaj-ul-Hussein” Seminary School.
Promoting the culture of book reading among the youth and teenagers of the country and getting them more acquainted with teh issue of Islamic unity were among the objectives of the competition.
The Iranian center had distributed books as sources of the competition among the students of the school one month ago.
More than 60 seminarians participated at the competition on March 1.
