The movie Noah [AS] has been banned in three Muslim countries of the Persian Gulf.

Officials in Qatar, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates have said the movie cannot be screened because it depicts a messenger of God, europe1.fr website reported.
This comes after Egypt’s Al-Azhar Islamic Center issued a statement saying that the movie’s content runs counter to Islamic teachings.
The center expressed its opposition to any work of art that depicts the prophets of God and the companions of the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH).
The film’s producers say the ban is expected to spread to Egypt, Jordan and Kuwait.
A campaign is also expected to be launched against screening the movie in other Muslim countries.
The film, starring Oscar-winners Russell Crowe and Anthony Hopkins, will premiere in the US on 28 March.
According to Islamic teachings, Prophet Noah (AS) is one of the five greatest messengers of God.
