The organization in a statement condemned oppressive measures taken by the Saudi government against opposition groups and Shia thinkers and said they should stop, Shafaqana website reported.
It said the new court rulings issued against bloggers and thinkers in the Middle Eastern country run counter to international conventions.
The organization also urged for introduction of reforms and democracy and the release of political prisoners.
Late last year, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights expressed deep concern over the intimidation and prosecution of individuals in Saudi Arabia for exercising certain fundamental freedoms.
Also, Human Rights Watch recently published a report saying the harassment of activists by the Saudi government has been redoubled since early 2011.
Activists say there are more than 40,000 political prisoners in the knigdom.
In October, rights group Amnesty International censured Saudi authorities for not addressing the “dire human rights situation” in the kingdom.
The group also presented the UN with a document that included information on a “new wave of repression against civil society, which has taken place over the last two years.”
