It will be held on Monday, April 28, said Yahya Saud, a member of the Jordanian parliament and the organizing committee, tap.info.fr website reported.
He made the remark in a session of the organizing committee yesterday, adding that the conference aims to highlight the religious importance of supporting the holy city of Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Saud underlined that the issue of Quds is not a Muslim issue per se as the Zionist regime is trying to force both Muslims and Christians out of the city through Judaizing it.
He added that the occupying regime seeks to destroy the holy city’s Islamic identity.
The international conference is going to be held by the Jordanian parliament’s Palestine Commission in cooperation with the Islamic University of Jordan.
