Quran Exhibition Planned on Sidelines of Int’l Quran Contest

A Quran exhibition will be organized on the sidelines of the 31st edition of international Quran contest in Tehran.


According to the information office of this edition of the competition, Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Mas’ud Mirian, head of the technical committee of the contest said that like previous years, various Quranic organizaions and institutes of the country will cooperate in the Quranic exhibition.



It will havemore than 60 pavilions and cultural, Quranic, and art products will be presented at the main section of the exhibition.



The exhibition will have an International Section for the first time to be held with the participation of representatives from Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, etc.



The Children Section has also been planned for the exhibition with various cultural, Quranic and entertainment programs for children who will come to witness the contest.



Mirian added that some educational-art workshops will also be held at the exhibition with the participation of Quranic artists who will lively make artworks such as calligraphy, painting, wood curving, etc.



The 31st international Quran exhibition in Tehran will be held from May 26, marking the auspicious feast of Mabˈath, the divine assignment of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) to prophethood.
