According to the website of the Dar-ol-Quran, “We Should Revive (the teachings of) the Quran” is the motto of the exhibition, organized as part of a festival titled “Light of Revelation and Rissala (prophethood)”.
Copies of the Holy Quran, Quranic calligraphy works, posters featuring Quranic activities of the Dar-ol-Quran, exegeses of the Holy Quran and CDs of Quran recitations by eminent Qaris of the Muslim world are on display at the exhibit.
The festival includes other programs such as “Rajabiyyah” Quran recitation sessions at the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (AS) and a national competition on Tarteel recitation of the Holy Quran with the participation of Qaris from various provinces of Iraq.
Aiming to disseminate the Quranic culture, the Dar-ol-Quran has organized and contributed to various national and international Quran exhibitions so far and distributed Quranic books and products among different Islamic communities.
The exhibition was opened on May 16 and will run until tomorrow, May 21.
