Egyptian Qari to Attend Quran Recitation Session in Tehran

Prominent Egyptian Qari Taha Numani will attend a Quran recitation program in Tehran tonight.

The program will be held in Punak neighborhood, northwest Tehran, on the occasion of birthday of Hazrat Abbas (AS).
The Imam Ali (AS) Mosque in Punak will host the spiritual event after the Mafghrib and Isha prayers.
Taha Numani is in Iran as a guest of honor in the 31st International Holy Quran Competition of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The 31st edition of the Islamic Republic of Iran's International Holy Quran Competition kicked off in the capital, Tehran, on Monday.
120 reciters and memorizers of the Quran representing more than 70 countries competed in the event, which concluded on June 2.
