IQNA – Ceremonies will be held in the cities of Tehran, Qom and Mashhad next week to mark the Arbaeen (40th day after) the funeral and burial of martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.

The office of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei issued a statement Sunday, announcing the holding of ceremonies to commemorate the martyred Leader.
“Concurrent with the 40th day after the funeral and burial of the martyred Leader, ceremonies to commemorate the great Leader and his (martyred) family (members) will be held by Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei in Tehran, Qom and Mashhad,” the statement said.
They will be held as follows:
Tehran:
Tuesday, August 18, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at the Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (prayer hall).
Qom:
Wednesday, August 19, after Maghrib and Isha prayers, at the holy shrine of Hazrat Fatima Masoumeh (SA).
Mashhad:
Thursday, August 20, coinciding with the eve of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hassan Askari (AS), after Maghrib and Isha prayers, at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS).

The statement invited the grateful people of Iran to attend the ceremonies to renew allegiance with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and emphasize following the path of the martyred Leader.
