The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought held a Quran unity conference in the UK earlier this week.

The event is annually held in London to mark the holy month of Ramadan. Its aim is to highlight the unifying nature of the Quran to all Muslims, Press TV reports.
The message is needed this year more than ever.
The sudden crisis in Iraq has exposed fault lines that have long been exploited. World media and politicians claim the cause of the crisis is sectarianism.
But participating experts and academics from all sects disagree.
Organizers said that the biggest challenge Muslims face today is disunity - making the focus on the uniting essence of the Quran - more important than ever.
