A Tunisian scholar underlined that confronting terrorism should turn into a global demand.

Speaking to IQNA, Sayyed Imadeddin Hamrouni, who heads the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) Institute in Paris, said all countries ought to contribute to fighting terrorism.
He added that contributing to economic, social and cultural development is the ultimate solution for tackling terrorism.
Asked about the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) terrorist group, Hamrouni said the militant group, which has been founded upon the Salafist ideology, is doomed to failure.
He said the West and certain regional countries such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey and Jordan have been backing the ISIL financially and logistically.
The Tunisian scholar added that the Zionist regime and France support the terrorist group by providing it with arms, training and logistical and intelligence assistance.
He underscored that the future of Iraq will be in the hands of Iraqi people and that the only way to victory for Iraqis is national unity and solidarity.
Over the recent days, the ISIL militants in Iraq, who are allied with loyalists of Iraq’s former Baathist regime, have been wreaking havoc in the country and committing atrocities against people.
The militants overran large swathes of land in northern Iraq, including the cities of Mosul, the country’s second-largest city, and Tikrit, the birthplace of former Baathist dictator Saddam Hussein, in just two weeks.
Meanwhile, Iraqi army forces have flushed out ISIL militants from a major district near the city of Baqubah in Diyala province.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Sayyed Imadeddin Hamrouni referred to the ongoing crisis in Syria and stressed that countries like Saudi Arabia, Turkey and France that seek the disintegration of Iraq and Syria and the weakening of Iraq will be the ultimate losers of the war in Syria.
Syria has been gripped by deadly violence since March 2011. Over 160,000 people have reportedly been killed and millions displaced due to the violence fueled by the foreign-backed Takfiri terrorists.
