Mohammad Reza Pormoin, head of the Quranic Society of Tehran Province, said there are fewer unrelated data-x-items on display in this edition of the exhibit.
He noted that the Quran expo should be more about the Quran itself than Quranic calligraphy, media products, arts, etc.
Pormoin added that issues like 'humanity in the Quran', 'resurrection', 'woman in the Quran', 'promulgation', etc, should be displayed in the expo in different forms.
He further hailed the change in the venue of the exhibition but underlined that what is presented at the exhibit is more important than the location.
The international Quran expo was held at the Imam Khomeini (RA) grand Mosalla (prayers hall) until last year but this edition of the great Quranic event is hosted by the Holy Defense Garden-Museum.
The exhibit will be running until the 15th day of the holy month of Ramadan (July 13).
