The world's smallest script Quran copy has been put on show at the 22nd International Holy Quran Exhibition in Tehran.

The copy contains the entire Holy Quran in just two pages each measuring 12 by 16 centimeters.
The text has been written in so small a script that one needs to use a magnifier to read the verses, according to Raein Akbarkhanzadeh who has created the work.
He says, however, that he has inscribed the verses with naked eye without using any magnifiers, etc.
Akbarkhanzadeh said it took him 2500 hours of work to complete the rare copy.
A kilogram of gold, five kilograms of silver and different kinds of gemstones have been used in making the unique copy of the Holy Book.
It is on display for the first time at the Written Works Section of the Quran expo, which is underway in the Holy Defense Garden-Museum until July 13.
