Ramadan Special Bulletin Published in Serbia

On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, a special newsletter was published by Iranian Cultural Center in Belgrade, Serbia.

 According to IQNA’s branch in Europe, “Hello to Ramadan, Hello to the Month of God” is the title of the editorial of the newsletter.

The meaning of the term “Ramadan”, objectives of fasting, principles of fasting, supplications of each day during the holy month, virtues of Ghadr nights, special worshipping and rituals on Ghadr Nights, prayers on Eid Al-Fitr, poems by Mowlawi and Hafiz (Persian poets) on Ramadan, etc. are some of the themes of the bulletin.
According to 2011 census, there were 228,658 Muslims in Serbia (3.1% of total population, excluding Kosovo).
Muslims in Serbia are mostly ethnic Bosniaks, Albanians and minor but significant part of Roma people as well as members of the smaller ethnic groups Muslims by nationality and Gorani.
