Participants in Int’l Quran Expo Express Sympathy with People of Gaza

Those in charge of the pavilions of the 22nd International Holy Quran Exhibition in a joint statement expressed sympathy with the oppressed people of Gaza.

They also condemned the latest wave of atrocities committed by the Zionist regime against the innocent Gazans. The statement said the Israeli war on Gaza and the killing of its defenseless and innocent women and children are representations of the bogus human rights claims by the US and other supporters of the Zionist regime. The international Holy Quran exhibition has also hosted several programs to show sympathy with the oppressed people of Palestine. The Zionist regime has killed at least 247 people and injured nearly 1,900 others since it began its latest onslaught against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip on July 8. About a third of the Palestinian fatalities are women and children.
