Head of the Iranian Academics' Quranic Activities Organization said a center is planned to be launched for interdisciplinary Quranic studies.

Hamid Saber Farzam made the remark at the closing ceremony of the Academic Section of the 22nd International Holy Quran Exhibition, adding that the Iranian Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research (University Jihad) will open the center due to the importance of interdisciplinary Quranic research.
He underlined the need for brining Quranic sciences into people's lives and said what makes that happen is linking Quranic sciences with other sciences.
In a world that moves toward specialization, one can better know the Quran through interdisciplinary studies, Saber Farzam stated.
The University Jihad has been taking steps in that direction for some time, he noted, adding that one these steps was the publication of a journal featuring interdisciplinary Quranic research.
