Holy Quran Contest Held in Oman

The closing ceremony of Adam Sons Holy Quran Competition in Oman was held recently at the Pearl Celebration Hall.

The competition was held under the patronage of Shaikh Suleiman bin Mohammed Al Nomani.
The event started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Shaikh Yusuf bin Abdullah Al Balushi (Imam of Masjid Mohammed Al Ameen) after which Managing Director of Adam Sons Group of Companies Ismail bin Mohammed bin Adam Al Saigh gave a welcome speech.
This was followed by the start of the competition events to pass the final stage and evaluate the first place and second of the participants from all groups involved.
Chairmen of Adam Sons Group of Companies Abdul Hameed Adam Al Saigh gave away the prizes to the winners, participants and judges of the competition.
About 100 persons of different nationalities participated in the competition of reciting and memorizing the Holy Quran.
Following that Mufti Mohammed Yusuf of Sri Lanka, who is also a specialist in Islamic banking, gave a short speech expressing his joy of witnessing the Holy Quran competition in the Sultanate. 
At the end of the ceremony, Shaikh Mohammed Syed Al Hub, recited the Holy Quran.
