The Quran Institute of the holy shrine of Hazrat Abbas (AS) is holding the Quranic course, which began on Saturday, al-Kafil TV network reported.
It is aimed at fostering the Quranic culture in the society and promoting Quranic activities among school students.
Director of the institute Sheikh Javad al-Nasrawi said a number of top Quran experts supervise the course, in which lessons on subjects such as Quran interpretation, Fiqh and theology are also presented.
He added that similar courses are planned to be held in the institute's branches in several other Iraqi cities as well.
