English Encyclopedia of Islamic Teachings on Cell Phone

An adviser to Egypt's Mufti said an encyclopedia of Islamic teachings has been provided in English to be installed on Android devices and app stores of mobile phones.

According to Al-Yaum Al-Sabi’ website, Ibrahim Najm said that the encyclopedia has been compiled in 5 volumes with the aim of playing an influential role in the contemporary Muslims’ lives.

It will be distributed among Muslim minorities in Europe, America, Australia as well as the eastern and western parts of Asia.

Disseminating true Islamic beliefs and fighting extremist thoughts are the main objectives of the encyclopedia.

Taking into account the importance of applying new technologies in dissemination of moderate thoughts, the Dar-ol-Ifta’ of Egypt has decided to publish the new collection.
