Rectifying the distorted image of Islam will be high on agenda during the meeting, Muhammad Mukhtar Guma, the country's Awqaf Minister said.
The meeting will also discuss issues like political misuse of religion by extremist groups.
This comes as crimes committed by terrorist groups like the so-called Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) as well as biased coverage of such groups' activities by western media have led to the distortion of Islam's image in the world.
The ISIL is in control of a large swathe of northeastern Syria as well as some territory in Iraq, where they have been committing heinous crimes, including the mass execution of civilians and Iraqi security forces.
Some observers have said the rise of the ISIL Takfiri threat can be directly attributed to the policies of Western countries in the Middle East region.
