A spokeswoman of the Alexandria Women Society in Egypt has condemned the publication of cartoons desecrating the Holy prophet of Islam (PBUH) in a French magazine.

Habba al-Zaqbi slammed the French magazine Charlie Hebdo for publishing the sacrilegious cartoons and called on Islamic and Arab countries to take a prompt stance against the move, al-Bawaba news website reported.
She also said that France ought to apologize to Muslims for the insulting move by the magazine.
“Insulting religions is a malicious act which leads to enmity among people and its aim is spreading sedition,” al-Zaqbi stated.
She underlined that freedom of expression has limits which must not be breached, adding that freedom of speech does not mean freedom to insult others.
Charlie Hebdo satirical magazine has once again breached the limits of freedom by publishing a sacrilegious cartoon linking the terrorist activities of the so-called Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) to Islam.
It enraged Muslims by publishing anti-Islamic cartoons in 2011 and 2012 as well.
