International Conference on "The Status of Muslim Women in Contemporary Society" To Be Held in Malaysia

--International Institute for Muslim Unity of International Islamic University Malaysia is to hold an international conference under the title of "The Status of Muslim Women in Contemporary Society: Realties and prospects" on August 14th.
The objective of this conference which includes English and Arabic languages is to examine the realities of the status of Muslim women and the prospects in future relating to their rights and responsibilities and also to address critical and challenging contemporary issues from the religious, social, political, cultural, economic and legal perspectives faced by Muslim women.
Meanwhile highlighting the necessity and importance of cooperation and network between NGOs in relation to women’s role is the issue which will be taken into discussion in this 3 day conference.
The conference would be held at the Senate and Banquet Hall, IIUM in Gombak, Kuala Lumpur. The organizer welcomes academics, scholars, researchers, practitioners, politicians, NGOs, government officials and other interested individuals and organizations to participate or to write research papers on any of the relevant topics as mentioned in the dimensions of the conference.
