Birth Anniversary of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) Celebrated in Afghanistan

-- On the occasion of the birth anniversary of the holy prophet (PBUH), a ceremony was held by Ministry of Hajj and Awqaf at the Radio-Television Hall in Kabul, Afghanistan.
It was attended by the high-ranking Afghan officials, Naser Jahanshahi, Iran Cultural Attaché in Afghanistan, and Afghan scientific and cultural figures, scholars and citizens.
The character of the holy prophet (PBUH), Quran and the current issues in Afghanistan were the main themes discussed at the program.
Ayatollah Asef Mohseni, head of Khatam-Un-Nabiyyin Seminary School, as one of the speakers at the ceremony referred to the Egyptian revolution clarifying the crimes committed by Hosni Mubarak and supporting the revolution. He warned rulers of Arab countries to draw lessons from the events in Tunisia and Egypt and regain their religious Islamic identity.
He further regarded the birthday of the holy prophet (PBUH) as the birthday of all humanity and said the prophet is the symbol of perfection.
He invited all Muslim nations to apply the prophet's tradition to acquire honor and dignity.
Molawi Arsalan Rahmani, member of Afghanistan Peace Council, also presented a speech on the status of the holy Quran and the character of the holy prophet (PBUH).
