According to The Herald-Dispatch, the annual event is designed to give everyone the opportunity to learn about Islam as well as attend events that focus on current issues. All week from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Memorial Student Center there will be a table with pamphlets, activities and more.
Some of the activities at the information table will include seeing your name written in Arabic as well as trivia questions.
A discussion called “Unveiling Sharia” took place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, in the Shawkey Dining Room of the Memorial Student Center. The topic was Sharia law in regards to current politics.
Then on Wednesday, April 4, there will be an Islam question and answer session from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to bring questions and topics to discuss with Muslim students from Marshall.
