Son of the late Lebanese Shia leader Sayyed Hussein Fadlallah described commitment to the issue of Palestine as the main criterion to evaluate the sincerity of political and national currents in the Islamic and Arab world, Almenar reported.
Speaking on Tuesday, March 3, in a meeting with Abu Imad Ar-Refaei, representative of Palatine’s Islamic Jihad Movement in Lebanon, Sayyed Ali Fadlallah also stressed the importance of a decision by Arab and Islamic countries to put the Palestinian issue high on their political agenda.
“The Zionist enemy will feel comfortable and continue its polices including Judaization of Quds and destroying the Al-Aqsa Mosque as long as Muslims are preoccupied with their internal problems,” he underlined.
Fadlallah further called on Arab and Islamic states to unify and integrate their polices and plans for fighting religious seditions in the region.
“Shi’ites and Sunnis have to maintain unity and coordination in order to confront the storm of problems in the region.”
Elsewhere in his remarks, head of the Allameh Fadlallah Institutes in Lebanon went on to say that some international circles are trying to prevent establishment of Islamic governments in the revolutionary Arab countries.
