According to IQNA’s branch in Europe, the session was held with the presence of the deputy of the Mufti in the Regional Office for Muslims Affairs in the province.
Titled “Family Values in Islam”, the program was organized by the university in cooperation with Organization of Regional Development of the Ministry of Local Policy of the region.
The program was addressed by the deputy who also answered different questions posed by students regarding Islam and Islamic values and teachings.
Also speaking at the session, D. Makarov, head of the Department of Theology of the faculty stated that: “Such meetings and programs provide good opportunities for the students to become more familiar with Islamic values.”
He noted that the university will try to continue holding such programs for the students particularly meetings with clerics and religious scholars.
