Supporting Nat'l Production Should Turn into the Country’s Economic Doctrine
The Supreme Leader’s this year slogan of “National Production, Support for Iranian Capital and Labor” should turn into the country’s economic doctrine and strategy, political secretary of Iranian Hizbullah Coalition said.
Hossein Kan’ani Moghaddam also told IQNA that “Iran’s economic independence is highly critical at the present time with respect to the existing threats and sanctions against the country that are mostly aimed at showing Iranians’ resistance and confidence insignificant.”
“The Supreme Leader’s slogan is a prudent measure against such unfair pressures and threats" he said, adding that if domestic production prospers, most of the enemies' efforts will undoubtedly fail.
Referring to Iran’s boycott against Zionist goods and companies in 1982, he called for pursuing similar policies towards the US and other threatening countries to decrease their influence in international domains on the one hand, and foster the domestic production on the other.
“We need to devise an administrative plan to put Imam Khamenei’s this year slogan into realization with the help of all the corresponding officials, thinkers and elites,” he went on to say.
“This year’s slogan is also very much in line with late Imam Khomeini’s (RA) early aspiration following the Islamic Revolution to maintain the country’s economic independence.”
Kan’ani Moghaddam also expressed hopes that Iran’s economic status would further improve if the Supreme Leader’s guidelines turn into a practical strategy.
