82 Contestants from 33 Countries Attend Int’l Quran Competition in Qatar

IQNA – The qualifying stage of the third “First of the Firsts” International Quranic Competition was launched in Qatar.

The competition has brought together an elite group of Holy Quran memorizers from around the world.

A total of 82 contestants from 33 countries all first-place winners in recognized international Quranic competitions take part in the five-day online qualifying rounds, continuing until July 30.

It has been organized by the Qatari Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs under the Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani Holy Quran Competition.

The event reflects Qatar’s role in serving the Holy Quran, supporting its memorizers and strengthening Islamic values and identity, according to organizers.
