Mehdi Salehi told IQNA that once the funds pertaining to the 0.5 percent plan are realized, the center will launch the website and pursue organizing the second Quranic Research and Medicine Congress.
Based on the 0.5 percent plan, government bodies are required to spend 0.5 percent of the annual budget for Quranic activities.
The first congress of Quranic Research and Medicine was held last year, Salehi noted, adding that in the coming years it could be organized in the form of a festival.
He also said in a session planned for next week, cultural deputies of the country’s medical sciences university will discuss Quranic research plans for the current year.
