In line with efforts to act on the instructions of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the Dar-ol-Quran Kareem Organization plans to hold 15 Quran memorization programs this year.
One of the programs, which features memorization of the 30th Juz (part) of the Quran for 100,000 learners, will begin in May.
The participants will learn the 30th Juz by heart in a three-month period. At the end of the program, the participants will take an exam and those who pass it successfully will be awarded and receive certificates of attendance.
Pre-school Quran learning courses and memorization of selected Surahs of the Quran are among other programs by the center for the current year.
In a meeting with Quran masters, memorizers and reciters last year, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei regarded memorizing the Holy Quran and reflection on its verses as a means for bringing about a Quranic burgeoning in the country and urged for training 10 million memorizers of the Quran.
