Monotheistic Teachings; Loftiest Aspect of Quran Miracles
In Imam Khomeini’s (RA) point of view, Quran miracles have various facets, the most basic of which being the literary aspect and the loftiest one manifested in its grand monotheistic teachings.
Presenting his article on “The Quran’s Mystical Miracles in View of Imam Khomeini (RA)” at the first edition of Quran Miracle Congress that was held on May 2 in Shahid Beheshti University, Seyyed Abbas Kazemi elaborated on Imam Khomeini’s (RA) viewpoint concerning the mystical aspects of Quranic miracles.
“One who views the Holy book from a mystical perspective will discover its miraculous aspect; otherwise, he merely focuses on its verbal fluency and accuracy,” he added.
“In Imam Khomeini’s (RA) point of view, the most basic miraculous aspect of the Quran can be found in its exceptional literariness while the highest level of miracles can be witnessed in its lofty themes and teachings.”
Kazemi went on to say that no philosopher or skilled orator can express the perfect sciences of the Divine names and attributes, the spiritual realm, Genesis and Resurrection as beautifully and meticulously as the Holy Book.
Also, Mansour Darvishi Tafvizi, presented his article on “Quranic Sounds and Miraculous Semantic Effects”, maintaining that Quran’s sounds are so musical and melodious that have profound effects on the meanings of Quranic words and expressions.
“The miraculous aspect will be further revealed once we compare the Quranic sounds with similar natural signals and frequencies in terms of their semantic implications,” he went on to say, adding that “the research has been conducted using the Frequency Analysis Software based on the deductive approach.”
“An Introduction on Holy Quran’s Spiritual Miracles” was another article presented by Sajjad Mohammadnam which discussed the reasons behind the popularity of the Quran’s verbal miracles that inspired lots of books on the fluency and accuracy of the Quran’s verses.
Criticizing the theory which highlights Quran’s verbal miracles as the main miraculous aspect, the paper called for devoting more undivided attention to the spiritual miracles of the Holy Book.
