The annual Hajj season is an opportunity for confronting the blasphemous acts against the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH), a Quran Radio Official said.
Speaking to IQNA, director of the radio’s information dissemination and cyberspace department Hojat-ol-Islam Mahmoud Reza Zakavat added that there should be appropriate planning for the Hajj season to unite Muslims against insults to Islamic sanctities.
He said there are various other moves that can be taken to confront the blasphemies. “For example, officials can publish Quran translations in different languages and distribute them among non-Muslims in other countries to promote the sublime teachings of the Quran and Islam. They can also produce CDs and software products introducing the character, conduct and Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).”
Hojat-ol-Islam Zakavat regretted that the country’s Quranic community bas failed to have strong presence in the cyberspace to introduce the character of the last messenger of God (PBUH).
He referred to organization of festivals and scientific sessions by Iran’s cultural centers abroad as another step for dealing with the insults against Islamic values.
The media and press should also plan to demonstrate the anger of Muslim and non-Muslim nations over such despicable moves, he went on to say.
