According to IQNA’s ICRO branch, the program has been organized by the International Quran Recitation Association (IQRA) with the participation of well-known Quran reciters from Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Egypt and Bangladesh.
Dhaka, Sylhet, Bugra and Chittagong will host the Quranic sessions for one week.
Opening ceremony of the forum was held at Bait Al-Mukarram mosque in Dhaka with three thousand participants in attendance.
It was addressed by Reza Dianat, Iranian cultural attaché in Bangladesh, who talked about achievements of the Islamic Republic of Iran in various Quranic fields.
The international Quranic association is working under the supervision of Ahmad Yusuf, eminent Qari of the country who practiced Quran recitation for seven years in Al-Azhar. He was the second-rank winner of the international Quran contest in Iran.
