Basirat Ten-Day Event Signifies Renewed Allegiance with Velayat-e Faqih
Grand Ayatollah Alavi Gorgani regarded the Basirat (insight) Ten-day event as a sign of the Iranian nation’s renewed allegiance with Velayat-e Faqih (leadership of the Supreme Jurist).
The Basirat (insight) Ten-day event is a celebration of the ten days between December 29 (anniversary of the 2009 demonstration of the Iranian people against seditionists) and January 8 (anniversary of the 1979 demonstration of the people of Qom against the tyranny of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi).
In a meeting with members of Qom province’s Insight and Allegiance with Velayat group, Grand Ayatollah Alavi Gorgani said the ten-day occasion demonstrates the insight of the Iranian nation.
The group is travelling to Tehran to meet with Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei on January 8.
Grand Ayatollah Alavi Gorgani referred to insight as necessary for safeguarding the Islamic Revolution, urging the nation to endeavor to defend the ideals of the revolution with insight and vigilance.
“By obeying the Vali Faqih, many of the enemies’ ploys will be foiled,” he underlined, adding that everyone has a heavy responsibility to maintain the revolution and Islamic values.
He also stressed the need for remaining vigilant and prepared against the enemies’ onslaughts.
The grand source of emulation said the Islamic Iran is the only independent country in the world that is its own master.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he referred to the 1979 demonstration of the people of Qom against the Shah and said the city’s people created an epic on that historic day which was a turning point in the course of the Islamic Revolution.
