Indian Seminaries Quran and Hadith Olympiad Concluded

The 18th edition of Quran and Hadith Olympiad of Shia seminary schools in India concluded in a ceremony in New Delhi.
According to IQNA’s ICRO branch, the ceremony was held with the participation of representative of the Supreme Leader in India, Deputy of Iran Cultural Center in the country and officials of Al-Mustafa International University’s branch in Delhi.
It was addressed by Hojat-ol-Islam Mahdawi, representative of the university, who elaborated on the organization of the Olympiad in various cities and districts of India.
The preliminary stage of the competition was held with 600 participants from different parts of the country, the winners of which competed in the final stage held in the capital city.
Hojat-ol-Islam Mahdawi encouraged the participants in the Olympiad to attend the national Quran memorization and recitation contest, which is to be held by Iran Cultural Center in Delhi.
Alami, the deputy of the center, then provided more information about the Quranic contest which is planned to be held in India during the Unity Week
