National Quran Memorization Contest to Conclude in UAE
The final stage of the 14th edition of national Quran memorization contest in the UAE will be held on February 4.
According to Dar-Al-Khaleej newspaper, Ibrahim Bu Milha, head of the organizing committee of the contest said that the preliminary stage of the event concluded on January 20.
named after “Sheikha Hind Bint Maktum”, the competition is held as part of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award, which is organized annually.
Quran memorizers from Al-Ein, Dubai, Umm al-Qaiwain, Ajman, Fujairah, Sharjah, Ras Al-Khaimah and Abu Dhabi, students of Maktum Quran Memorization Center as well as participants from the UAE’s Ministry of Endowments competed in the preliminary stage for 8 days.
The winners will take part in the final stage of the contest, which is to be held on February 4.
