According to Dar-Al-Khaleej newspaper, Ibrahim Bu Milha, head of the organizing committee of the contest said that the preliminary stage of the event concluded on January 20.

Quran memorizers from Al-Ein, Dubai, Umm al-Qaiwain, Ajman, Fujairah, Sharjah, Ras Al-Khaimah and Abu Dhabi, students of Maktum Quran Memorization Center as well as participants from the UAE’s Ministry of Endowments competed in the preliminary stage for 8 days.
The winners will take part in the final stage of the contest, which is to be held on February 4.
