Desecration of Holy Prophet (PBUH) Biggest Challenge Facing Muslim Ummah
Hezbollah Leader Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah said one of the biggest challenges facing the Muslim Ummah is desecration of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), his religion and his call.
In an address to a celebration marking the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), he said insulting the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was a preplanned plot.
He said no human being can accept insulting and blaspheming the sanctities of others.
Nasrallah stressed that introducing the unique character and virtues of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to the world was upon all Muslims.
He said Muslim movements and scholars have talked about the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in the past centuries, and it is now the responsibility of all Muslims and Islamic scholars to make it their priority to introduce this great character to the world.
He noted that those leading the moves to desecrate the Holy Prophet (PBUH) seek to create Fitna (sedition) between Muslims and Christians and also among Muslims.
Nasrallah further referred to the elections in Israel, saying that there was no party able to play the leading role and that all indications confirm that the Zionist regime is facing a crisis.
He urged for cooperation among Muslims and commitment to the resistance in order to make Palestine more powerful and combat the challenges in the Arab world.
“The guarantee for protection of Gaza is resistance and what guarantees the rights of Palestinians is national reconciliation and solidarity of the Palestinian nation as well as its commitment to the resistance.”
Hezbollah secretary general also pointed to intensification of conflicts in the Arab and Muslim world, stressing that these conflicts are not sectarian or ethnic but political in nature.
He urged that the issues in the Muslim world should be resolved through logic and reason or else the conflicts will weaken nations and countries.
Nasrallah underlined the significant responsibility of the elites in the Muslim world and said they have a greater responsibility today than any time before.
